Aloeist was created by Beth Chin, a Chicago-based artist, designer, and creative producer whose work has long centered on materials, environments, and the relationship between people and the things they experience.

Her approach to Aloeist comes from the same place: curiosity, experimentation, and a belief that thoughtful design should extend beyond how something looks. After developing and testing her own botanical formulas, she began building Aloeist as a personal care system focused on fresh ingredients, intentional formulation, and practical everyday use.
