OUR FORMULAS
We make our formulas from the ground up.
Fresh aloe is processed in-house, while every other ingredient is carefully sourced from certified, reputable suppliers. We select materials based on their quality, function, compatibility, and contribution to the finished formula—not simply because they are inexpensive or convenient.
Each formula is developed and tested in-house before moving through additional testing with qualified partners. This allows us to understand our ingredients at every stage, refine our formulations, and create personal care products intentionally—not simply assemble pre-made bases.

Why fresh aloe?
Fresh aloe also gives us greater control over what goes into the formula from the very beginning. Rather than beginning with pre-formulated aloe gels or powders, which can require substantial preservative systems and additional processing, we start with fresh aloe and build our formulas from there.
Our process allows us to formulate the aloe ourselves, incorporating carefully researched and tested natural preservatives, humectants, and supporting ingredients to create a more intentional starting base for our products.
Why small batches?
We make Aloeist in small batches because we believe personal care should be made with intention—not excess. If you have product left when a new batch arrives, share it. Gift it. Pass it along. We keep our pricing as manageable as possible so that Aloeist can be something worth sharing rather than something that sits unused on a shelf.
Our packaging follows the same philosophy. We consider the material, its lifespan, its recyclability, and how it can reduce waste. Wherever possible, we choose packaging that can be recycled or reused, from aluminum tubes with minimal labeling to small glass containers designed with reuse in mind.
We're also building ways to keep packaging in circulation. Through our rewards program, certain glass containers can be returned to Aloeist for credit toward future purchases. Sometimes the most sustainable product is simply the one that gets used.
How to use
Use it on your lips, face, body, and hair—and take it with you wherever you go. Store your product in a cool, dry place when you're at home, or pack it up and take it along.
Because everyone's skin and hair has its own chemistry, we recommend introducing Aloeist gradually. Before applying a new product broadly, test a small amount on an inconspicuous area and give your skin time to respond.
If you're new to Aloeist, you might begin with areas such as your hands or feet. If your skin responds well, try your body or hair. From there, you can gradually explore other areas such as the neck, ears, eyebrows, or beard.
For more sensitive areas, such as the face, take your time. We recommend testing the lips or a small area near the temples or face at home before applying the product more broadly. If your skin responds well, try a small area of the cheeks or forehead before moving to full-face application.
There is no need to rush.
Your chemistry is your own. Start where you're comfortable, pay attention to how your body responds, and build from there.
When to replace your product
Aloeist is made in small batches, so we encourage you to enjoy your product while it's fresh.
After opening, keep an eye on the formula. If you notice separation, discoloration, or a change in smell, discontinue use and replace the product.
If your product seems questionable within the first two weeks of delivery, please contact us through our contact form. We'll review the issue and, when appropriate, send you a complimentary replacement.
When in doubt, don't use it. We're happy to help.
